Oakley Xmetal Romeo and Jawbo
Oakley Xmetal Romeo and Jawbo
A look at the two pair of Oakley sunglasses that I own, one Jawbone and one X Metal Romeo. The Romeo is almost an antique by now, I've had them forever. They're made out of a titanium alloy and are almost indestructible, you're money is well spent on any of their X Metal offerings; you just have to deal with a little added weight for the strength they provide. The other pair is called the Jawbone, they have a plastic frame but are very durable. You can buy them already made in factory styles or for twenty bucks more you can pick the colors of the ear socks, arms, bolts, lenses, and upper and lower frames. For twenty bucks more than that you can get one set of lenses polarized, and for ( you guessed it ) twenty bucks more than that you can get both sets of lenses polarized. Oakley's polarized lenses are second to none, there's absolutely no distortion. Both of the pair that I own are rated safety glasses, in fact they test better than standard safety glasses in ANSI testing which makes them great shooting glasses. If your shopping for a new pair then check Oakley out.
